The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has released online the Admit Cards/Hall Tickets of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2017) today i.e. Monday January 16, 2017 on the official website of AICTE-CMAT.

The CMAT 2017 will be held on January 28, 2017. The test will begin at 9:30 am on January 28, 2017. January 29 is a reserved day.

Candidates can download and take printouts of their Admit Cards/Hall Tickets till the examination day.

The electronic admit cards for all candidates who applied for the January 2017 CMAT are now online, and they can download and take printout of the same by following the steps given below.

  1. Log on to the official website
  2. Click on 'Existing user' on the homepage
  3. Login with your registered email ID and password
  4. Click on the link to download admit card
  5. Admit cards will be displayed
  6. Take printout of the same for future reference

Candidates should note that the admit card will contain the photo, name and signature as mentioned while applying, CMAT Roll number, test date, time, reporting time at the venue, venue name, venue address and brief instructions for the candidate.

The admit card of the candidates will also be sent to the email address mentioned at the time of application besides the one availalbe on the CMAT website.

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Government of India.

The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. The CMAT facilitates Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission in all Management programs.

The CMAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate's ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. 25 Questions will be there in each session. The duration of the session will be 180 minutes. A candidate will have to take the test on a pre-assigned computer at the test venue.

The candidates should also take a note that there is negative marking for the wrong answers. For each correct answer there are 4 marks, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.

The candidates were given the chance to select up-to 3 cities in India giving order of preference towards their test city. The first choice of city will be given due consideration and weightage. However, actual allotment as per order of choice will be subject to availability of the slot in that particular city.
