New Delhi: AAP founder member Ashwini Upadhyay, who joined the BJP Tuesday has been appointed the spokesperson of the party's state unit, an official said Wednesday.
"Ashwini Upadhyay has been appointed as the party spokesperson," Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) media convenor Praveen Shankar Kapoor said.
Upadhyay had joined the BJP along with three other AAP leaders, just days after AAP legislator M.S. Dhir, who was denied a ticket by the party for the upcoming Delhi assembly poll, joined the BJP.
